Happy Birthday Flourishes!
Aqua again.......lol I'm on a roll....not a rut! I really enjoy coloring flowers and I've used some BG copic markers for this card. I stamped the image twice and cut out three of the flowers of the second image and popped them up on the first image. I like the dimension it created. The sentiments are from LOTV. The background paper is covered in glitter, to supply the bling.

Tilda in Aqua
I love aqua. I just fell in love with this paper when I saw it--it's got the nice fall colors all wrapped up with a bit of aqua tossed in! Just love it!
I haven't used my Tilda stamps in ages, so it's about time I pulled one out. She's colored with copics. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and I added some iridescent stickles for a bit of bling. The leaves are punched from a Martha Stewart punch. I also used a gold spica marker to add some bling to the hardware on her suitcase.
Thanks for all your comments. They are very much appreciated. Have a great evening!

Favorite Flourishes Birthday Bash
Here's my next card from this weekend. Isn't it great when your creativity just flows?!!!!! It's been a while and I'm so happy that it's back. It's Flourishes 4th Birthday and I'm joining in on the fun by playing along with their Birthday Challenge which is to use your favorite stamp set.
Well, it's way too hard to pick just one set, but I do like this one alot. This one is called Cherries and Peaches . It's a great one to color.

It's All About the Sentiment
The challenge at Flourishes for Timeless Tuesday is to focus on the sentiment. This is my take on the challenge. I love this paper, don't you? It's so bright and girly! I had a great day for creativity yesterday, so I'll be making more posts today and the rest of this week. The girl is back in full form!
Woohoo!

Who Doesn't Love a Chocolate Bar?
I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t love receiving a chocolate bar….especially one that decorated up so fancily. Today is Anything But A Card Day and I decided to do just that……..decorate up a chocolate bar for someone special. Here it is:
I decided to use Medic Abigail as my focal image. I thought that this would make a great gift for someone who’s a little under the weather or who just isn’t having their best day. I colored her with my copics and added some pearls for bling. I also used my circle and scalloped circle spellbinders for cut out the image and to add some flair. The ribbon is from my stash.
The tutorial I used to make this candy bar wrapper can be found on Splitcoast stampers here. They call it the Pull Up Treat. Why not give it a whirl yourself?

Anything But A Card Sunday
Here's a new type of project this week. I've made a fridge magnet.
It's almost back to school time and there will be all those gorgeous pieces of artwork to hang on the fridge or the filing cabinet at work. What better way to show them off than with a really cute magnet?
I used my copics again to color up this gorgeous little image, which is called V Day Bunny. I've used oval and scalloped oval spellbinders as well as stickles to add some sparkle. I used some magnetic strips that I got at the dollar store for the back of the magnet so that it will stick to the fridge.
It's an easy little project, but could work into a great gift for Dad's office, Grandpa's workshop, Grandma's fridge or Mom's workplace.
Let me know if you make on for yourself. I'd love to hear about it.
Happy creating! Janet

Pure Innocence
Today's post is short and sweet. And with a different stamp! LOL I'm using the Pure Innocence line today. Hope you like it. I'm getting ready for some of my favorite company. I haven't seen Denise in ages---and her new baby is almost a year old! I get baby time and a visit with one of my closest friends. I can't ask for a more perfect day. That's my celebration!
I hope your day is as wonderful as mine is going to be!

Clean and Simple
I've had an idea for a monochromatic card bouncing around in my head for a while now, and I finally had some time to create it. Here it is:
I used my bow easy to make the bow and it turned out great! I did use the Zinnia stamp set again--I've got to put that away and pick another set, right?!
For copics, I used C's and T's this time. I also used the circle spellbinder dies to emboss the circle around the image. The ribbon is from my stash, as is the paper.
Thanks for stopping by!

Paperworks Co Anything But A Card
It's an altered notebook today. A girl can never have enough notebooks around and there's nothing better than a personalized notebook.
My notebook is from the dollar store, and I've used one of the new images released last month from Paperworks Co called The First Kiss. It's just an adorable image, don't you think? I've colored it with my copics, and used a martha stewart punch for the border. The chipboard hearts and heart brads are from my stash. I punched out some page tabs using a SU punch so that the notebook could be a more useful and organized tool for the bride-to-be. The dies for the image and background are, of course, spellbinders.
Have you made something other than a card lately? I'd love to hear about it.
Happy Sunday everyone! Janet

Hummingbird
I saw this stamp last week and fell in love with it. The hummingbird is just exquisite.
I had to stamp it twice so I could pop the bird up on the card. I can't say much more about this stamp except that its from Inkadinkado and I love it. Wish I could attract them to my yard.
Thanks for stopping by.

Summer Beauty
That's what I call this girl. She's my first La Blanche stamp and I can hear an addiction beginning. These stamps are a dream to stamp with. Clean and crisp images. I love coloring them as well. Enough blabbering. On to the card:
Isn't she a doll? She's called Wandering with Daisies. I got her at Allison's store in Stonewall which is called Scrapyard. (waving to Allison!) Allison has a great selection of stamps and she's an enabler extraordinaire! Totally my kind of person. If you get a chance, pop by for a visit. You won't be disappointed.
I'm doing a class next week at Gone Scrappin' in Bloom where we are using Oranges and focusing om learning about shading and shadows and we're going to be using this stamp. If you're interested in joining us, click on the link and give Kelly a call. It's always a fun time in Rossburn.

Red Green and Neutral
This is my last card for the challenges over at Flourishes for their August release. We are challenged to use red, green and a neutral for this one. Here's my take on it:
I used my new Zinnia set and colored it up with my copics. I added some ribbon from my stash along with a crochet flower (one of my hoarded flowers lol).
I hope you like it. We're having farm fresh corn for supper tonight. I'm looking forward to that. August is a great time of year for fresh produce.
See you soon!

Yummy Strawberries
It's strawberry time again. I really miss that this year. With the flood that happened here in Manitoba, there weren't many to be had, so I didn't get any picking in at all. Good thing I have some jam left over from last year.
Plain and simple today. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for all your comments. I sure appreciate each and every one.

Puurfect Friends
I haven't used a Prairie Fairy image in ages and when I saw one of these new releases, I just had to have her. She's another Gillian image and she's called Puurfect Friends. I fell in love with the blue in the inspiration photo at Prairie Fairy Fridays and that started off my card. Everything just seem to fall into place after that. Of course, I got to use my new Authentique paper--don't you love that new company?!!!!! If you haven't seen their papers yet, be sure to keep your eye out for them. They are just plain gorgeous! I know what I'll be hoarding now. LOL
I've got a free day so I'm off to create. Hope you are having a good day where ever you are.

Sweet Sugar
Here's a cute stamp from the Sugar Nellie collection....love those big eyes!
She's called Bad Hare Day. LOL I had a great get together with the ladies from the Brandon Charity Scrapbook Convention committee. I stamped some images that I hadn't used before and took them with me. I sure had a productive day. I think the grand total was 7 cards....which is great considering all the visiting and fun we managed to have amidst our hard work!

Anything But A Card Sunday
It's Sunday so that means I get to show you one of my creations for Paperworks Co. I'm just loving the challenge I've been assigned this month. Today I decided to make a different kind of treat box. Check this out:
I used one of the Cutie Patootie Collection for this creation. It's called Ice Cream Bear. I filled him with Hershey Kisses...who wouldn't love this treat?!!!! Why don't give this challenge a try? If you'd like to give this a try, here is the tutorial I used.

Shades of Sunset
I'm inspired by the challenge over at the Flourishes blog called Shades of Sunset. Here's my interpretation:
I used the Spring is Sprung set and stamped the bunny in versamark and then sprinkled it with chocolate shake embossing powder. I sponged a variety of SU inks on the copic paper. The dp is from Kaiserkraft. Ribbon and pearls are from my stash.
I hope you like my interpretation.
