One for the Boys

That's the theme for this week at Crafting When We Can challenge blog.  I chose to make a CAS card, and it looks like this:

I used a stamp that I recently got from The Cat's Pajamas.   I love that rabbit on the scooter.  It's also a great image for a masculine card.   It's colored with copics and I also added some glossy accents on the headlight.

Our sponsor this week is Some Odd Girl

Be sure to head over to the Crafting When We Can challenge blog so that you can see all the DT's creations.  I hope you'll play along with us too.

It's that time again.....

It's Sunday and that means another challenge over at One Stitch At A Time.  Today the challenge is anything girly. Here's my take on it:

I really love this image.....her total confidence in herself...that's what I see when I look at this image.

I colored her with copics in the YR and BG range.  I used the swirls and dots cuttlebug folders and some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The leaves are made using a Martha Stewart punch---an oldy but a goody!

The image is designed by Beary Dust Stamps and it's called Brat.  Our sponsor this week is:

and the winner will receive a L10 uk voucher!   Head over to the One Stitch At A Time challenge blog to see all the DT work and get yourself started on this challenge!

A Corner Bookmark

It's a bright and beautiful day here...the sun is shining and it's a perfect day to curl up with a good book.  I'm entering the March Guest Designer contest at My Favorite Things and the theme is 'Hit the Books'.  This  is my interpretation of the theme:

I used the Pure Innocence stamp called Sunflower Girl.   She's just adorable, isn't she?  I also used a variety of MFT dies--the Fancy Flourish, the Fringed Perennial, and the Bracket tab.  i had to add some bling so I got out my rhinestones.

If you are interested, why don't you play along too, with the GD contest. It's tons of fun and all the entries are gorgeous!  The new release party starts March 6 at 8pm EST...it's another great way to have some fun. Hope to see you there........

Animals, animals and more animals

That's the theme for the next challenge at Crafting When We Can.  Here's my card:

I fell in love with this image.  Such a cute rabbit!  Copics were used to color the image and I added some stickles to the icing for some bling.  I used last month's sketch from I {heart{ 2 stamp.

We're sponsored by The Stamping Boutique and I was so luck y to get to use this image from their shop.  Who could resist such a fun image!

Head on over to the blog so you can see all the hard work by the DT.  Tons of gorgeous animals there.   We'd love to have you join us and play along.

Reuse or Recycle

Today's challenge at One Stitch At A Time is "Re-use or Re-Cycle".  You must re-use or recycle something on your card.  Easy peasy, eh?

Here's my card:

I decided to reuse some twill tape.  It's that orange ribbon on the side. It came in some packaging--can't remember where I got it--but I always save that ribbon to reuse again. Today it came in handy.  I used a stamp called Sweet Something. Isn't she delish?!!!  Love her pose.  She's colored with copics and I've used the Mojo Monday sketch from last week as a starting point.

Our sponsor is:

and the prize is 3 Promarkers!  Awesome!

Make sure you check out all the DT's work over at the challenge blog. It's fabulous!
