A Little Birdie Told Me

I got new stamps!

This one is called A Little Birdie Told Me and she`s from Stamping Bella.  I`m really falling for these `girl` stamps.  I colored her up with copics.  I used the sketch that`s up on Stamping Bella`s blog. I added some bling from Melissa Francis.

Just love it!

Happy Birthday To You!

Here's a very bright birthday tag I created using a Saturated Canary image. I'm falling in love with her images.  I cut out the image and colored it with copics.  I used my spellbinder dies to create the shape of the tag and added some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The hearts are also spelllbinders and I then texturized them using some cuttlebug folders.  THe sentiment is from My Favorite THings and I added a bit of bling to it.

Hope you are having a great day!

You're All Heart

I pulled out a Hanglar Stanglar image and colored it up this afternoon.  It's been a while since I've just one of these images.  I love it though, and it's perfect for a card that's all about love.  I used B93,95, 97 to color up the boy and then used R29 for the heart.  His skin was colored with E50, 53 and his hair was colored with E33, 35.  I'm using up a new of my valentine paper scraps too...that's always a good thing.

I used  a Lily of the Valley stamp that I`ve had around for ages. She deserved some ink, and was coloring with copics. I added some stickles to her wings.

Flowers in a frame

I'm joining in with the challenges going on over at Flourishes Stamps for their release week.  For this challenge we are to frame the image. I used spellbinders for this frame, and followed the sketch from Mojo Monday.  Seam binding crosses the middle of the card, three cuttlebug folders were used for the background and copics were used to color the image.

Cheers!

Janet

A Tree Full of Love

I've had this idea for ages--this tree idea--and when I read about the Guest Designer Challenge for My Favorite Things, I knew I had to make this project.

I totally love the stamps From My Favorite Things. Their designs are awesome and can be used for so many occasion. I think that once I set the wonderful quality of these stamps aside, it's got to be their versatility that attracts me.

I got the wood from Michaels and determined how long each piece was. Then I painted all the wood pieces with pink paint.

I used a variety of dp's--some Martha Stewart and some others from my stash.  It took me a while to determine where each paper would go, but I like the end product.  I used two images from My Favorite Things.  Those images are from the Pure Innocence line, which is one of my favorite stamp lines.

I used copics to color the images.  I added some hearts that I punched out using my cuttlebug. I glued everything together with my glue gun and popped it into this gorgeous white vase. I added some spanish moss and ribbon as an accent.

If you're interested in taking part in the Guest Designer contest, visit their forum over at Splitcoaststampers.  Even if you're not interested in the contest, be sure to visit anyway as the creations that are entered are superb!

Challenges:

I Love You

I decided to try the Sparks Challenge using this freebie available at Paper Smooches.  This is my first try at trying to combine digi stamps in different ways.  I still need alot of practice, but it wasn't as hard as I thought it might be.

I colored the heart using my R29 copic marker.  I added some glossy accents to the heart and sprinkled glitter on top.  I think it's a cute CAS card.

It's time for another Crafting When We Can challenge.  Well--I'm late, due to unforeseen circumstances.  Better late than never.  Here's my card:

We're sponsored this week by Fresh Brewed Designs

and I got this cute chocolate dipped strawberry image.   It's colored with copics and I've added some glossy accents to the chocolate dipped part.  The theme is valentines/love and I think I've got that covered with the strawberries and the chocolate, never mind the heart dp.

Be sure to drop by the Crafting When We Can blog to see all the DT's creations.  They're super!  The winner of this week's challenge will win 3 images from Fresh Brewed Designs.
