Totally Tilda Challenge #1

Don't you just love the Tilda images? I know that I do. I am all charged up now that there is a challenge blog just for Tilda! It opened up yesterday, so pop on over and check it just might be drawn into the Tilda vortex too! Muwhhaahhhahhhaaa (evil laugh)

Here is the card I made for the very first challenge:

I used this Tilda for the very first time for this challenge. The challenge was to use chocolate for the main color. I colored her up with my copic markers, and cut her out. I used some pearl embellishments to fancy her up and then added some new brown ribbon I bought at the Scrapyard--that's in Stonewall, MB and if you're in ther area, you definitely need to check it out. Allison is a wonderful hostess and her store is to die for!

This Tilda is called Tilda with a single flower and you can find her here.

Yesterday was a scrapbooking get together for all the ladies who work on the Brandon Scrapbookers Charity Convention committee. They all meet about once a month to scrapbook. Since I work all week, I don't always get to join, but I do get to host the events in the summer. We had tons of fun, lots of laughs and great food. I made 8 cards and I'll be posting them throughout the next week or so. (waving to all the committee members!)

See you soon!

  1. Janet it's so sweet and perfect for our challenge! Love the pearls. Wish I would have picked some up when we were there! Sounds like you had a fun scrap day can't wait to see your creations! Thanks for joining Totally Tilda this week!

  2. What a warm yummy chocolate card its lovely Janet
    Thanks for joining in our first challenge at the Totally Tilda Challenge
    Hugs Susie & the TT DT XX

    PS I don't know if you know you have word verification switched on, just to let you know that if you have word verification switched on in the future the The Totally Tilda team may not be able to leave you a comment (you might not even know you have it switched on)
    It is so easy to switch off and if you us comment moderation you can still monitor your comments, and if you switch off word verification you will get lots more comments from your readers
    Heres what to do if you don't already know;
    Click customize
    Then click the settings tab
    Then click comments , scroll down to "Show word verification for comments?" and just clock "No"
    At this point if you want to turn on "Comment moderation" you can just fill in this section with your email address etc on the same page, personally I don't have this on either and I don't get any problems
    I hope you don't mind me saying this its just that word verification slows us all up and take the fun out of blogging
    Hugs Susie xx
