An EveryDay Princess

I've been big into canvas' lately, and this is one of the latest ones I have created.  I also really love the 'She' sayings, so I put that together with a Tiddly Inks image. Voila!

The Tiddly Inks image I used is called Everyday Princess.  She's a wonderful digi stamp. I really love the saying I've included,   "She ignored people who said it couldn't be done".  It's a canvas that I've got on display in my classroom at the college.

To make the canvas, I covered a plain white canvas with gesso. Then I placed some punchinella from Gauche Alchemy and painted over it with acrylic paints.  Then I used my Balzer Designs stencils and some Glimmer Mist and srayed them randomly over the canvas.  I painted the chipboard letters, then coated them with stickles for a bit of sparkle. I colored up the princess with copics, cut her out and then adhered her to the canvas with mod podge.  I used glossy accents to stick the letters onto the canvas, then once dry, I covered them with mod podge too.  Lastly, I added a red rhinestone to the Princess' crown.

Thanks for stopping by and I'm hoping you are having a wonderful weekend.
