Watercolor beauty

I visited Jennifer McGuire's blog and saw this beautiful card made with watercolor papers. I decided to give it a try.

I used the Curly Flowers cling stamp by Hero Arts and stamped it in versamark and embossed it with white embossing powder. I then sponged on some distress inks. I painted it with some macro pearl Pearl Ex powder, and let it dry. Then I assembled the card.

In the second card I varied the way I sponged on the ink.

I really like how it turned out. It has a little sparkle to it, and I love the distress inks. Yummy.

Thanks for looking, Janet

  1. Wow, beautiful backgrounds!

  2. Oh I love this watercolor look. Reminds me of doing the watercolors with white crayons when I was a kid in school!
