A Valentine of a Different Flavor

I wanted to create a valentine that was not the traditional red or pink. I love this paper, and the colors, so that's what first drew me to making a card like this.

I used one of my Papertreyink stamp sets, and embossed the sentiment with detail silver embossing powder. I also added a paper doily--I saw these at Michaels and snapped up a package. I knew I'd find a use for it sometime.....lol (isn't that what all card makers and scrapbookers say about their stash?!!!) I also used some velvet ribbon I had.

Oh yes, and I got to use my new Marshmallow Glimmer Mist....thanks for the suggestion Sarah.......it shows up great in the picture. It almost distracts me in the picture, and of course, in real life, it's just a fine glimmer.

Hope you like it.
