My Fabric Layout
Here's a layout that I did a while back. I joined Iris Babao Uy for her online class to benefit the Philipines.
We were challenged to use a variety of fabrics and ribbons in our layouts. I case'd hers, changing it to match my style and what appealed to me. It's definitely different, but I like it.

Create your own embellishments
Here's another class that I'm working on for my lss. It's happening next month, I believe.
The first card is all about metal embossing. I've used my favorite tool, the spellbinder die, to create this one. I've also touched it up with alcohol inks.

The second card uses an image from The Greeting Farm--gotta love those cute stamps. I've colored the image with my copic markers, and used shrink plastic to create the floating embellishment. I stamped the shrink plastic with an acrylic stamp that says Ohlala. Love that sentiment.

The third card didn't photgraph so well, so I'm off to take another picture of it and post it another time. It uses polymer clay, a cookie cutter, and pearl ex.
Hope you like them, Janet

It's all about the flowers
I thought I'd post a layout that I recently completed. I've been seeing alot of 'do-it-yourself' flowers on some of the blogs I've been following, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. This is for a class at my lss in the near future.
I chose to use one of Heidi Swapp's invisibility pages. I've had my eye on this one for ages, and finally decided how I was going to use it. I sponged two colors of ink all over the paper. Then I sprayed it with marshmallow glimmer mist (how I love that color!) Then I matted my picture.
As for the flowers, I created some with ribbon, paper, and felt. I used a variety of techniques. I'm sure you've noticed that there are some Prima flowers there too--they've all been altered in one way or another.

Yes, I do know that I need a new picture of myself. It's been ages since I've had one taken that I really like. It's on the to do list now.

Using Floss
Don't you love the Moxie Fab Blog? I visit every day. There's always something new to drool over, and some great inspiration. Today it's all about floss. I made a card with floss not to long ago and thought I'd post it and link it up to the Moxie Fab floss post.
It is my first try with floss. I used a template for the design, and I love simple, clean cards.....so simple and clean it is.
And I'd love to be able to have the Moxie Fab badge on my blog!
Hope you like it. I think it's Moxie Fab.
