Here's another picture of it, close up.
I used my copics to color it, and I added some glitter to the centre of the magnolia's. I used my spellbinders labels die to cut out the background.
If you're interested in the tutorial in how to make a corner bookmark, go over here. Splitcoaststampers has a great tutorial. Don't forget to check out the gallery too.
Please hop on the trail to some of our Posse's Blog's! They would love to hear from you! So visit and be sure to leave a comment! We love to hear from our visitors.

Pink Tilda
I'm a Tilda fool. I'm totally in love with Magnolia stamps and am placing a giant order once the stamps I want are back in stock. Tilda is my girl....totally love her look, and love to color her. She's the best. Anyone agree with me?
I've made Tilda in pink today. I love Tilda with her basket of Apples. I've used my new Doo Hickey and created two doilies to add some frilliness to my design. I've sponged some momento pink ink around the edges. I used three different colors of pink cardstock and my copics to color her up. I also used my oval spellbinders to cut out my image. Lastly I used Pastel Rasoberry Liquid Pearls to add some bling to the card.
I'm entering her in the following challenges:

I just realized......
that since my computer is in the shop with over 1000 viruses on it (and no., I'm not kidding about that number)......I may have lost all my digi stamps. OMG! Please cross all your crossable for me.....and pray to all the computer gods that there are that they can save my stuff!
And personally kick me in the butt for not backing up my files. I'm an idjit! Sigh...

It's about time.....
that I posted some cards, don't ya think?
I created these cards for a class I taught on this past weekend. It was a hit, and I really liked this idea. I case'd it from SCS here. darlenedesign did a wonderful job and I thought it would work really well. The class was a total unknown, in terms of participants. I didn't know if they had any experience card making, or were experts. This card worked well becacuse they dsign is unique, yet it's easy enough for beginners to have fun with.
I created it in two color schemes. Do you have preference? I used SU ink to distress the edges, either kiwi or chocolate chip. I also used gelli pens to create the faux stitching on the edges, to create the quilted look.
I'd love to hear what you think. Thanks for popping by today. Janet

Cowgirl's Sunday Stampen' Challenge
It's a wonderful sunday morning here in southern manitoba! How's your card making going this weekend?
I've got a new card to show you. This week's challenge is a sketch posted by Alison. Here it is:
The challenge also asks us to creat our own background dp. Our sponsor this week is Michelle Perkett.
Here is my card for the event:
I used one of CJ's stamps that you can find here. I created my own background dp using the swirls cuttlebug folder. I inked up the snowflake and covered it with glitter and used my
cuttlebug snowflake die to cut out the snowflakes.
Will you join us this week at the Cowgirl's Sunday Stampen' Challenge? There are prizes to be had too. Pop on over to the Challenge blog to see what the other DT members have created and to get all the info you need.

It's another Blog Waltz with Waltzingmouse Stamps. Come along and waltz with us. There's just so much beauty to see.
I just love the look of vinatge cards, don't you? They are a bit out of my comfort zone though. I often start them, but find that they just don't turn out how I'd like them to. However, this card did. I love how it turned out. Don't ask me why I like it so much, I just do.
I used three different stamp sets from Waltzingmouse stamps on this card. I wanted to see how many I could use in one card--perhaps a challenge sometime?!!! I used Teeny Trees (didn't I tell you it was one of my favorite go to sets?!), Very Vintage Labels #10 and Victorian Fripperie. I used versamark ink and clear embossing powder on all the stamping.
I also used Old Lace Glimmer Mist to color the smaller flowers. I added some pop dots to the label and voila! a card is born!
Please leave a comment as I'd love to hear from you1

Happy Birthday
I had to make a birthday card, so I pulled out the image I received from Paperwroks Co, and colored it up. Purple is so appealing to me these days, so of course, I made a purple card.
I created my own background using the star cuttlebug folder and inked the folder with SU lilac ink. I also followed a sketch found here.
I added some glitter to the cake and star on the balloon and used my copics to color the image. I hope you like it.

Here's Santa
Have you ever seen a cuter card? I CASED him, but I can't remember the site, so if anyone knows, please leave me a comment so I can properly credit her.
I'm teaching a card class this Saturday and am thinking that this would be a great card for it. I also have another Christmas card class next week, in a small community about 1.5 hours from where I live, so it might work there too.
I used my cuttlebug on it, and the oval SU punch for the nose. I sponged pink momento ink on for the cheeks, and cut out the beard and moustache free hand. I used the smallest spellbinder circle for the eyes and the white sharpie for the accents. A Martha Stewart punch created the leaves and the button is from my stash.
Let me know what you think.

Christmas Greetings
I just love this stamp set by Waltzingmouse Stamps. I'm sure it's going to be my favorite set in no time flat. I just seem to have tons of ideas and occasions to use it for.
Today I decided to use this Basic Grey paper. I've been hoarding it and it was past time to get it out and start using it. I'll have to buy more though--I just love it. I decided to turn this into a Christmas Greetings card, only for the reason that I wanted to use this set only for this card, and it seemed to be the one sentiment that seemed to work. I think this would be a great masculine card or thank you card or even a sympathy card. Versatile, see?
Here it is:

Prairie Fairy Challenge #36
It's a Ric Rac Challenge kind of day! I did it. It was doubtful this week. The days were flying by and I was really doubting whether I'd be able to get a card created for this challenge over at Prairie Fairy. But I did it!
I cased this card. What a gorgeous card. The layout totally caught my attention and I had to use it.
Here's what I came up with:
I could only find black ric rac in town! Isn't that amazing! Who knew it was so hard to come by? I remember, as a kid, cruising down the sewing aisle (I loved to sew) and finding tons and tons of all different colored ric rac. Times have changed. LOL (Seems I'm only finding out about it now..LOL)
I added some glitter to her parka and I found some large tinsel glitter (Martha Stewart) to use on the snow around the bottom. I colored the image with my copics and used up some of my highly coveted black and shiny paper.
I'm also entering this card in these challenges:
Die Cut Dreams Christmas Challenge #37
GingerloftChallenge #3

Paper Sundaes Challenge #38

Cowgirls Sunday Stampen' Challenge
It's Sunday and that means another Sunday Stamp'en Challenge.....are you ready?!!!!
The challenge is to use orange and black on your card cuz.......CJ is releasing NEW HALLOWEEN STAMPS! Woohoo! I'm just cheering about this new release. I've seen some of the stamps and I'm totally in love. You've got to check out what the DT has created, as they have just outdone themselves this week. You'll be able to find all the new releases here.
Here's my card:
I really like this image. It works great with the Halloween theme, but it also works so well with the whole idea of Fall and Thanksgiving. It's just so versatile.
I colored it with my copics of course, and instead of making a rectangle shaped image, I decided to round the top of it, to go along with the shape of the moon. It just seemed to shout out circle at the top, so I had to go with that. I used some help twine as an embellishment and added a couple of flowers to create a focal point.
I hope you like it. Now be sure to pop by the blog to check out all the creations the DT have posted.
What do the winners receive? Well, the winner will receive 4 imaged from CJ and the Top 3 will each receive 2 images from CJ.
I'd love to have you join us with this challenge. Remember, it's black and orange...the sky's the limit!
