Spring Card

I have been working on a class for my LSS, and decided to try a spring card. I really like how it turned out. However, the camera didn't seem to want to show it's true colors. It's really a purple card, but it certainly doesn't look like that in the picture. Oh well--that's something I'll have to work on.

I used my flourish background hero arts stamp on the top layer using versamark and clear embossing powder, and used my new Tattered Flowers die from Tim Holtz. I added in a jewelled brad on the flower and the sentiment is from Stamping Bella.

Hope you all had a great weekend.

Paper Romance

I've been tossing up applying for the design team for the Paper Romance company. I love their images--very cute, tons of fun, and I'd love to work with them. So, I did decide to apply.

Here is one of the cards I'm going to submit for this. It's an easel card with a card purse. I really love the butterfly paper. I used a Stamping Bella image, which I colored with watercolor pencils. I used some pearlescent pearls for some bling, and cut out some extra butterflies and popped them up on the front of each. Easel cards are great. I love how they stand up and that makes them stand out from all the rest.

See you soon!
