An Arctic Winter Challenge

I'm trying to get a head start on my christmas cards this year and I've been playing along with Susie and Vicki for a little bit.

I didn't get my card for last week's challenge completed, so I finished it up for this week's challenge. I used a Pure Innocence stamp from My Favorite Things as the focal point. I really love that line...it's so conducive to copics! I embossed my layers using the cuttlebug and a variety of folders. I also used a spellbinder to create the frame for the stamped image. Toss in a few rhinestones, and voila! Christmas is born....lol

I hope you like it. Now the question is, how are YOUR christmas cards coming along?

Paperworks Co Sunday Sketch #33

This sketch really caught my eye, so I thought I'd try it out.

When I was at the Brandon Scrapbookers Charity Convention, I picked out these papers. I loved the color combination and I'd been saving them, not sure what to use them with. Well, they just seemed to pop out when I was looking through my stash for papers to use for this challenge.

I used one of my new Innocence stamps from My Favorite Things. I'd never even inked it up before, so this is my first try with it. I used my copics to color the image. I added glossy accents to the balloons. I used the new Tim Holtz flourish die to create the flourish, and I covered it with glitter.

I really like how it turned out. Hope you do too!
