It's been a great weekend. I attended a weekend scrap event hosted by Scrapbooking at Shelley's here in Brandon. What a great event! Thanks to Shelley for hosting, and to Jody for the excellent food! Three cheers!
I had a great time scrapping and visiting with all my friends. Here's a picture of Stephanie and I. I've known Stephanie for a while, but I didn't know her too well. We both work for Shelley teaching classes. However, since we've entered into the world of blogging, I've gotten to know her a little bit better. She does wonderful work. Make sure that you stop by her blog and check it out. She's an amazing woman.
I even managed to get some work done! Here is a picture of the first layout we all worked on. By 'all' I mean the ladies who work on the Brandon Scrapbookers Charity Convention. I've been working with these ladies for the past four years (I think) and they are great women. They get together and scrap more often than I can join them, and they usually pick some layouts to work on. They found this one in the Canadian Scrapbooker magazine, and we all loved it so much that we got one of our friends, Bronwen, to design us a kit, so we could make it. Bronwen came through for us, as always, and I just love how it turned out. Thanks Bronwen!

Well. You look great in that pic... but didn't I tell you I always have a silly look on my face in pics? And holy crap. I knew my hair was long, but I didn't realize it was that long!
