Happy Birthday Flourishes!

Aqua again.......lol    I'm on a roll....not a rut!  I really enjoy coloring flowers and I've used some BG copic markers for this card.  I stamped the image twice and cut out three of the flowers of the second image and popped them up on the first image.  I like the dimension it created.   The sentiments are from LOTV.  The background paper is covered in glitter, to supply the bling.

Tilda in Aqua

I love aqua.  I just fell in love with this paper when I saw it--it's got the nice fall colors all wrapped up with a bit of aqua tossed in!  Just love it!

I haven't used my Tilda stamps in ages, so it's about time I pulled one out.  She's colored with copics.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and I added some iridescent stickles for a bit of bling.  The leaves are punched from a Martha Stewart punch.  I also used a gold spica marker to add some bling to the hardware on her suitcase.

Thanks for all your comments.  They are very much appreciated.  Have a great evening!

Favorite Flourishes Birthday Bash

Here's my next card from this weekend. Isn't it great when your creativity just flows?!!!!!  It's been a while and I'm so happy that it's back.  It's Flourishes 4th Birthday and I'm joining in on the fun by playing along with their Birthday Challenge which is to use your favorite stamp set.

Well, it's way too hard to pick just one set, but I do like this one alot.  This one is called Cherries and Peaches .  It's a great one to color.

It's All About the Sentiment

The challenge at Flourishes for Timeless Tuesday is to focus on the sentiment.  This is my take on the challenge.  I love this paper, don't you?  It's so bright and girly!  I had a great day for creativity yesterday, so I'll be making more posts today and the rest of this week. The girl is back in full form!

Woohoo!

Who Doesn't Love a Chocolate Bar?

I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t love receiving a chocolate bar….especially one that decorated up so fancily. Today is Anything But A Card Day and I decided to do just that……..decorate up a chocolate bar for someone special. Here it is:

I decided to use Medic Abigail as my focal image.  I thought that this would make a great gift for someone who’s a little under the weather or who just isn’t having their best day. I colored her with my copics and added some pearls for bling.  I also used my circle and scalloped circle spellbinders for cut out the image and to add some flair.  The ribbon is from my stash.
The tutorial I used to make this candy bar wrapper can be found on Splitcoast stampers here.  They call it the Pull Up Treat.  Why not give it a whirl yourself?

Anything But A Card Sunday

Here's a new type of project this week. I've made a fridge magnet.

It's almost back to school time and there will be all those gorgeous pieces of artwork to hang on the fridge or the filing cabinet at work. What better way to show them off than with a really cute magnet?

I used my copics again to color up this gorgeous little image, which is called V Day Bunny.   I've used oval and scalloped oval spellbinders as well as stickles to add some sparkle.  I used some magnetic strips that I got at the dollar store for the back of the magnet so that it will stick to the fridge.

It's an easy little project, but could work into a great gift for Dad's office, Grandpa's workshop, Grandma's fridge or Mom's workplace.

Let me know if you make on for yourself. I'd love to hear about it.

Happy creating!  Janet
