Paperworks Co Magnificent Card Kit Monday
It's Monday! The last work monday for a while for me....that means more crafting time! Woohoo!
Today I've got another card to show you that I made with the June kit from Paperworks Co. I'm loving that kit.
Here's my card:
I used the V Day Bunny from the Rachelle Anne Miller collection. I think this stamp is my favorite one so far. Even though it’s a valentine stamp, I’m using it for an anytime card. Just to say ‘I love you’. I love versatile stamps, don’t you? The other nice thing about the kit this month is that the patterned papers work so well together. I’ve used two patterns today in my card and even though they are very different patterns, the colors really mesh well. I love that! Another nice thing about a kit, wouldn’t you say?
I hope you’re having as much fun as I am with this month’s card kit. I wonder what July’s kit will bring? Enjoy your monday and I’ll see you next week!
Janet
Supplies used:
Paperworks Co June card kit, momento ink, iridescent stickles, cuttlebug script texture folder, white ribbon, adhesive, oval and scalloped oval spellbinder dies.
Copic markers: R29, R83, R85, C0, E30, E31
Challenges for this card:
Stampin for the Weekend
Dutch Dare Clean and Simple
I heart 2 stamp

Papertrey Ink June Blog Hop
I was inspired to join the June Blog Hop over at Papertrey Ink. Also, I have some stamp sets that haven't seen in yet (hangs her head in shame) and it's high time they did!
Here's the inspiration picture:
Isn't it cool? I was totally drawn to the pastel colors and I had a great idea so I just had to create. I love those moments, don't you?
Here's what I created:
I made a group of three cards. I decided to experiment using clear and white embossing powder to see which one I liked the best. As it turns out, at the end I really can't tell the difference. The white embossing does stand out a bit more than the clear, but I like both.
Here's a close up of each card:
Please pop over to the Capture the Moment blog to add your card to the hop. It's open until 11p, EST tonight. You can also check out everyone's submissions. They are some beautiful pieces of artwork over there.
Thanks for hopping by.
Supplies:
Ink: SU ballet blue, pretty in pink, celery green, versamark
Embellishments: Martha Stewart twine, charm, irisdescent stickles, clear and white embossing powder
Tools: Spellbinders circles and scalloped circles, Martha Stewart butterfly punch
Challenges for this card:
Papertrey Ink June Blog Hop
Spectacular Sunday Challenge
Fab 'N Funky
The Paper Variety
Crafting for all Seasons
Whoopsi Daisy
Ambers Crafts and Stuff

Happy Birthday Tilda
I spent all day on this card. That's a first for me. I'm usually a speedy crafter, and whip out cards at a faster rate than that. However, today I was case-ing one of Claudia's cards from Pretty Pressings. I really love Claudia's cards and I decided to challenge myself. Here's the card I case-d. On her post, Claudia did invite people to copy her card and make one of their own, so I did.
Here's the front view:
It's a gate fold / joy fold card. It's got many, many layers, which is not my usual style. I altered how the card closes, by adding two bows instead of the one Claudia used. I also altered some of the ways the dp covers the base, as well as the embellishments.
Here's the right side of the inner gate fold:

Paperworks Co Wednesday Super Sketch #86
I'm playing along with the sketch at Paperworks Co today. Here's the sketch:
Please go here to see the sketch. I'm having trouble with blogger this morning. I will try to add the sketch in later today.
And here is my card:

I used Peppy Tinheart for the focal image and colored her with my copics. I added some bling with stickles around the edger of the labels spellbinders die. I dry embossed using a cuttlebug folder.
I hope you will join us and play along with this week's sketch too. Don’t forget – you enter at least 2 sketches this month, and you’ll be entered to win either 2 stamps or your choice OR this month’s PaperCard Kit! You’ve got until 11:59MST on June 30 to play along! Link up your creations here.
Supplies used:

Paperworks Co Magnificent Card Kit
Don’t you love card kits? They take the pain out of choosing paper and matching embellishments. I just love June’s card kit. The bright colors really add some spice to my cards. Here’s my sample for this week:
I used an Abigail C stamp called Spring Swing. She’s so cute! I colored her up with my copics and added some liquid pearls to her earrings. I used some sparkly stickles to the scalloped nestabilitie border for bling. The button and brads in the corners are also from the kit.
I’m having tons of fun with this card kit. Are you? I’d love to see what you are making with this kit. If you’ve added a card to your blog using this kit, why not leave a comment so I can pop over and have a look? I’d love to see your work.
Enjoy your day….and I hope it’s a beautiful sunny one where ever you are.
