Fantasy Card

This is a Mo Manning image called Hanging the Star.  When I saw it I felt that it fit with the challenge at Mo's Challenge blog where the theme is fairy or fantasy.  I'm choosing fantasy because I think that the baby is wishing upon a star.

I used copic makers (surprise!  LOL). I added lots of bling to it too....love bling.

Upcoming Blog Candy

I've just noticed that I have almost 100 followers!  Wow!  When I hit that magic number I'll have some yummy blog candy.  By that time, it should be my 1 year blogaversary, so I'll celebrate both events. Who loves Magnolia stamps?  There just might be one in the candy selection.

Krafty Nurse

I used the image that I chose when I won Top 3 over at Fairy Fun Fridays this week. I was so excited to win, and I knew I had to use the image to enter the next challenge.

This image is called Gilly Nurse.  The challenge this week is to use kraft paper in my card and if you didn't have any kraft paper on hand, use whatever you have that is closest to it. Well, I couldn't find any kraft paper, so I used one that I thought was closest.

Copics were used to color Gilly and I used glossy accents for her glasses again.  I embossed one of the background papers with the Paisley cuttlebug embossing folder.

I'm entering her into these challenges:

Black with a Splash of Yellow

I'm using the last of my favorite black, shiny paper today.  I'm really going to have to get more. I've exhausted the supply in town here, so I'm going to have to go online.  I really love it.

I also finally pulled out a Tilda image. I haven't used one of those in quite a while.  It was good to get her out and give her some color.  I'm playing with a color challenge, that requires you to use black and white mainly, with a splash of yellow.

Here's what I did:

I used my copics, of course. I added some bling using the yellow spica marker as well, on her bow.  I used some circle and scalloped lacey circle dies from Spellbinders to set up the Tilda image.  I added some ribbon and flowers for embellishment. The largest flower is a white Prima flower that I sprayed with Lemon Glimmer Mist. It turned out nicely, don't you think?

This card is also an easel card. Check this view out:

Creative Cowgirls Blog Hop

Today is the Christmas Blog Hop over at Creative Cowgirl's Challenge Blog.  We're being sponsored by the Prairie Fairy (I just LOVE, Love, Love her work!).   The hop starts here, so be sure to hop along as I know there are gorgeous creations for you to see.

Here's my card:

Of course I used a Prairie Fairy image. Here name is Gilly's Carolling....totally love her attitude!  I used my copics on her and added some glitter to the trim of her coat. I also added some Glossy Accents to her glasses to give them some shine.  I used some spellbinders dies to cut out the background shapes for the image and then embellished with some silver rope.  I used a corner punch for additional embellishment. Lastly, I used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts to finish off the card.

Be sure to make a comment at every stop on the hop and one on the challenge blog. There are prizes!  Also, if you join along with our Winter/Christmas challenge, please add this badge to your post:

It will enter you in for some CANDY!  YAY!  Nothing better than candy, right?  Here's the first stop on the hop......Ang.
